Well, I'm a college student working towards vet school and I have two little chinchillas ^_^ a hetero beige that I bought from a breeder and a black velvet I recently rescued from a closing pet store...apparently the first owner bought him to show, but did something to the tail so now is half gone so she sold it to the store for credit to spend on other things or something 
and they had him shoved in a small all wire cage with another male. Anyway, they are the sweetest little fluff balls and I'm considering trying to get involved with shows and other activities involving chinchillas. So here I am ^_^
