I have one chinchilla named Sable. She is very cute and seems bored most of the time. I try to make her life as happy as I can.
I am a reluctant chin owner. My son had purchased her without my knowledge and kinda gave up on her. He did not know what he was getting into. So like a good dad and animal lover I took over. I had adopted a friend for her but sadly the friend, Luna, died about a year ago.
I don't want another so I'm just going to keep Sable until she passes. She is about 5 I think.
I am building a new smaller cage that already has the flying saucer and a nice play area with ceramic tile floor. A second level is planed and will have a cooling room.
Anyway my original cage is for sale in the classified area as soon as monitor approves it.
