Hello! I've been coming to this forum a lot lately but I don't own a chinchilla nor a hedgehogso I don't know why I registered. I do want a chinchilla in the distant future and my older sister wants a hedgehog in the future but for now I'm content on doing research on chinchilla's and hedgehogs. I have a Lhasa apso named Demon who's 14 years old (he's going to be 15 in November, the 23rd I believe) and two rabbits (Blossom and Thumper) who just turned 4 years old (I don't know their exact birthday but I know it's late February - early March. Their Gotcha Day is May 6th). I may post some questions so be warned of that! Uh... that's all for now I guess.

Welcome! This place may not seem super active (because it's not), but it's a wealth of information and experience. It really helped me when I unexpectedly rescued my chin. I wasn't planning to get a chinchilla but then suddenly found myself with this adorable critter that I had no idea how to care for. So much info on the internet is outdated and/or contradictory, so it was really, really helpful to be able to get feedback directly from folks who had a lot of experience keeping these cute animals that require pretty specialised care.

Yeah, there are quite a few people on here who literally have decades of experience caring for chins, so I tend to put a lot of stock in their advice.
