Its one thing to have a Grand Show Champion, It's another to raise an Empress National Grand Show Champion. I have this personal rule that until I raise one myself I have no room to critisize.

Cassie I would stick with the Eb White, It sounds like the other guy needs to recouperate

I got permission to go!!! Yay!!! Doesn't look like I can bring the convertible though, but will still work on it. Hard to take chinnies along in the convertible, thought, too. LOL

Now to figure out if there 's any chinnies to bring...

Between traveling with chins and the price of gas on the rise, I say we take one of the 30++ mpg cars and leave the convertibles at home, Brenda!! I think I am bringing a 4 month old and my 8 month old. I don't have anything in between!!! Unless traveling to Dan's is going to totally stress out my 4 month old? Hummm. The ride may not bother her, but if Dan mocks her it could damage her self esteem...

What to do, what to do???

he's been in the cast for 5 weeks now he may be in his last week or 2 of having a cast on, he has started to heal. i need to take him back in on Thursday to get x-rays and replace the cast.

i'll leave him home though he may stress in the car ride. 4 1/2 hours to ft. dodge then an hour to waterloo

I could bring the Empress GSC's full sister. If he mocks her fur, she'll bite him! (Diva like her sister, but I tolerate it because they are gorgeous--for ebs, Dan, gorgeous for a dirty bellied, no-good-pelt EB!) :tease:

Well its looking like were shaping up to have a pretty good turnout! It also sounds like were going to have plenty of Pizza, Pop(and other beverages.....) If anyone has questions on how to get to my house my cell is 319-610-2638! Crap the only drawback is weve still got 2 weeks to wait!

so little dax got his cast off on Thursday, she said the bone callus is formed well enough to support what weight he puts on it, she said he should be fine in 2 weeks to make the trip, his paw is missing some fur from where the tape was but other then that he looks great! so i will have 2 chinnies coming a 3 month old and a year old chin

We finally made it home yesterday about 2:30pm. We would like to thank Dan and his mom for putting up with all of us they made us feel right at home. I think the meetings all went well and the question/answer session and looking at all the different sizes,ages and color of chins under the lights I think everybody learned alot. Somebody else will have to post who got what offices and all the other show information that was decided on.

Dan's Mom is a saint. Thank you Dan and Pam for putting up with a housefull of crazy chin people. There were 25 people there from 5 states, Minn., Wis., Ks., Missouri and Iowa. The Field Day for Heartland was set for Oct. 17th in Burlington, Ks., with cash awards given out for top winners again. The State show is set for Jan. 23rd, 2010 in Boone, Iowa again. What a great get-together we had. I did not win at the casino. :cry3:
