is it gonna be okay? I really don't know where he got that. He had it when he was out for playtime. I know he chew lots of plastic but this seems to be big piece and he was eating it like eating hay!

actually im not even sure if it is plastic, But what would happen if he really digest it?

Is there a reason why your chin chews a lot of plastic anyways? If your chin is chewing up the plastic in his cage, replace it with wood. He could easily get an impaction from chewing on plastic.

Like it's been stated he runs the risk of an impaction which is very serious. Clean out his cage so you can keep an eye on his poop output. When I'm watching poop I normally vacuum the cage twice a day. If the amount or size change I would take him to a vet ASAP. You might want to search the forum for impactions just so you can read up and know what you may be getting into. If it was me I would contact my vet just to let them know that it may be a possibility in case you have an emergency situation (especially if the vet doesn't work with chins regularly). These little stinkers are so mischievous that we really need to make sure that we're providing them with the safest playing and living environments that are possible.

I have dealt with an impaction and I will be honest, it's a lot of hard work around the clock and not fun. Like Alli said, he shouldn't be chewing on a lot of plastic period. If is cage has plastic, you need to take it all out and replace with shelves. My chin got impacted by getting to the plastic pan of his cage. He swallowed a tiny piece and he almost died.

Keep an eye on his poops, his appetite, and his activity level. If he stops pooping or they start to look odd, stops eating, and/or becomes lethargic, you need to get him to a vet asap. To diagnose they must take x-rays, and the treatment consists of motility drugs, pain medications, massages, and force feeding around the clock. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to pull one through. If it is severe enough, surgery may be needed.
