My chin has been using this veggie bowl for her hay: http://www.superpetusa.com/product-list/vegetbowl-carrot.htm

Does it look okay? It's almost 3 inches tall and I'm afraid it's too deep and hurts her back in a long run. She seems fine using it. Sometimes she stands on the leave or the edge to eat her hay. I just want to hear everyone's opinion. Thanks!

I highly doubt she is hurting her back. Chins can sit up on their hind legs or use shelves, like you said. It is no taller than many of the wooden hay holders, pots, etc. that many of us use for our chins.

Stackie - I think I wasn't clear in my original post. My chin actually jumps up and stands on the edge of the veggie bowl, or on that little leave that extends out from the veggie bowl, and then bends her back down to get the hay. Kinda like one of those yoga poses! Do you think it's fine?
