what is the purpose of the light............is it more for you to clean cages and check them out or for them to have exposure to light.

The light is purely for my own use. the room gets good daylight and I flip the light on at dusk for roughly 12 hours light 12 hours dark. The back of the cages get dark but the front half are plenty light without the lights, gives them nice hidey type spaces. So the lights are for me.

What would be a place you get pans. Just from bass pans, because when i said the paul spooner place, i didn't really see that the website is very hard to read and i can't even see if they actually sell pans (or i can't read lol).
