Here are some of my tanks. I have a 55, 72 bow front, 150 gallon, and 90 hex, and a smaller 30 hex.
I have a variety of fish. Some community fish, one with larger cichlids, and just began an african cichlid tank. It's addicting!

oooh, i'm liking this thread, lol! you may have seen these on my facebook already Bonnie, but i do like showing off my tanks :))

the big tanks are 55 gallons each, the long tank with the big piece of wood in the middle is a 20 gallon, and the mini jungle with the red betta, lol, is a 2.5 gallon that sits on my kitchen countertop. i've also got a 1.5 gallon hexagon but it's nothing fancy, just a sprig of a plastic plant in there for my other betta that's moving into one of the planted tanks soon.

third photo of all the tanks is the view from my couch, and it always makes me smile :))

I will have to take some pics of mine! I'm a new fish hobbyist. I have a 10 gallon with guppies, hatchet fish, a corydoras cat and an african dwarf frog. Then I have a 30 gallon with some African Cichlids. :))

Stacie, your lone cory needs cory buddies! they are schooling fish and really enjoy company of their own kind. i've got ten various cory 'wigglebutts' in one of my tanks and would have to say they are definitely one of my favourite species :))

Hi- Just want to say how beautiful your tanks are! I have a 29 gallon tank, I've had it for 10 years. I love fish, but I am just awful at keeping it looking good. I finally decided fish aren't my thing, I'm not good at it. I will stick with furry kids. I enjoyed looking at how nice a tank can be.

thanks :))

and what i bolded is the main reason i keep throwing money into my glass boxes, lol!

started with my first betta and a half gallon 'torture cube' on november 15th, 2007. it 'kinda' snowballed from there, lol!

Christine, nice tanks!! have you ever gone to www.aquariacentral.com? it's a great forum. i'm on there as 'BettaFishMommy'.

I'll check it out!! I had tanks a few years ago, but just got back into it. I kept 3 of my fish tanks from way back when. I just got the 150 this summer. Came home from chemo to find it leaking.... I had to move the big guys into temp tanks. Found the 90 hex a month ago and moved them into it. I need to reseal the 150, but waiting until I recoup from treatment. I eventually want to do layers of caves and make it my main African tank, and give the 55 back to the kiddo for her snake. I like my tanks fuller, but have had a hard time finding tall and thick plants until the past week when I found myself a new fish store. I love getting my hands wet, and rearranging things. I look at it like landscaping but indoors! Very relaxing and calming on my worst of days. I have to say nothing like sitting on a couch watching the fish, and rubbing your hands threw the softest fur on earth from one of my chinnies! :)

i hear ya on mucking in tanks, lol. i think my planted 55 gets a re-scape at least once every three months, lol. currently, all the plants are floating while i dream up how it's going to look next.

as for that 150....... just send it over to me! lol. it'll get a nice reseal job and will be put to great use after, since my oscar Gus needs a bigger abode (he's the giant reddish orange guy in the nearest tank to the couch).

Uhhhh NO!!!! That's my baby! Do you like eye candy? Check out this tank. I think they are asking waaay to much but LOVE the fish!!!

I don't know what they are yet, but I can't help but drool all over my keyboard! If I had money I'd send you out here to reseal for me! I also have a 60 hex downstairs waiting to be resealed also. I had to replace one of the glass panels but opted to get a mirror instead. I might do all 3 sides vs just the one.
You would have loved my Texas cichlid Hank. He got to be a monster thought, and went to live as a singleton at my sisters. Talk about a fish with attitude!

you mean the blue and black striped guys? those are frontosa. beautiful, and expensive!

Gus is my fish dog, lol. he even has a floaty plastic ball that he plays with and chases all over the tank.

to be honest, texas cichlids aren't my cup of tea. neither are africans. i like my south american and madagascar cichlids. one of my big guys (paratilapia polleni) is actually an endangered species in the wild, and i think it's pretty darn neat to have one right here 8 feet away from where i sit :))

that tank you linked is ok, not stellar, and yes, they are asking way too much! prices for used tanks are ridiculous in my area too, i swear people think they're siliconed with gold or something....... oy.

now this is a tank (where's that drooling smiley face again? lol):

I wasn't to excited about the tank, but LOVED the fish! I personally like my tanks taller vs longer. Hopefully this summer, I can get my Dad up to build a canopy for the 150.
I think I prefer the coloring of some of the Africans, thought they can be nasty little you know whats! I'm rather new to some of the other fish out there. When I had fish before we had an Albino oscar, and then just community type fish. I'd love to find some larger clown loaches to make a school. I only have 2 large guys, and know they are best with at least 3 or more. Now those guys crack me up! I still remember the first time they were caught sleeping on their sides. Here I thought one had died! I about had heart failure.
That tank ROCKS! I'd have to collect on hubbys life insurance to afford a tank like that! I always dreamed of having a koi pond in my backyard. Wish in one hand, and do-do in the other and see which one fills up the fastest.....sigh

I know this, his two buddies just died recently. But I actually just picked up three more cories today, 2 emeralds and a green. :))

Stacie, what do you feed your frog?

He eats flakes that float to the bottom, and I also feed him blood worms. I have little shrimp pellets too, but he doesn't really prefer those.

Here are my cichlids. I'm not done decorating their tank yet so I will wait to take pics of it. Waiting on some cool driftwood to come in! I also have a snow white cichlid but didn't get a pic of him.

No, he doesn't make any noise.

I get the blood worms from Petsmart. The other fish eat them, too. You can get them freeze dried or just frozen. I buy just the frozen ones...some come in small portioned out sections. You just have to cut out the section and dethaw it. I only feed the bloodworms twice a week.
