Hello Everyone,
So I am getting an FN cage for my Nanuk now since her and Sakka had to be separated due to Sakka loving to pro-create. Now they will both have huge cages, but here is my question. The FN cage that I have stumbled upon for the wonderful price of "free" housed three ferrets. The owner let's say was not the cleanest individual and would not clean it very well. He stated that it will be cleaned when I pick it up this weekend. I will of course throw away all the plastic and replace with wood shelves, but what will work to disinfect this cage. Will bleach work on its own or must I take an extra step. I also know that one of the ferrets was ill, and they had diarrhea for some time a few months ago. Thanks.
