Fire Drill Chin

So today the fire alarm went off in our building. We weren't too concerned but went outside anyway. After a few minutes several trucks showed up, hoses were taken out, people storming into the apartment building. This was an actual fire. I squeeze back into the building, run into the apartment and get my carrier. My little chin boy was soundly snoozing. It only took a little prompting and some scratches to get him right into his carrier without a peep. He sat outside with us and watched the flashing firetruck lights, not a chin care in the world. After all was over (small stove fire from a neighbor) we put him back, gave him a wheaty and he was happy as a clam.

Just a little shout out to my super compliant, sweet and calm chin baby boy. :dance3:

It is amazing the things that bother them and the things that don't! Good to hear you were able to grab him and that the fire was a little one!

Wow, I wouldn't expect a chin to sleep through a fire alarm. I don't think mine would!! That's awesome that yours wasn't freaking out or traumatized.

well, he was in the back room where you couldn't hear the alarm very much During the whole transportation etc. he was being a very sweet calm little guy.
