I hope they learn to use the litter pans. This is going to be way easier in the long run. Plus the metal grate was getting loud when they jumped down onto it.

What do you think?

looks nice! now you just need some more hanging toys for your sweeties :))

i have the exact same cage for Rhino, and just took out the bottom wire grate (it comes out really easy!). Rhino likes to lay down on the bare metal pan, since it stays cool (like a chinchiller tile). i'm going to make some liners for his cage, but i think i'll make them half size, so he can still access the cool metal.

Thanks! I just got a second job so my husband and I are going to start ordering more toys soon. They already have two but they definitely need more since the current ones are all chewed up. It's just a slow process because if I get everything at once it will seem like we're spending too much money.

.......... because if I get everything at once it will seem like we're spending too much money.

hoo boy, don't i know that, lol. i don't want to know what i've spent in the past little while on stuff for Rhino. i toss receipts on purpose, hahaha! between an order from Camphor, three trips to petsmart, and an order happening next week from Chinchilla Park Place....... oy! my wallet is not happy with me, lol. but it means i won't have to spend much on him for the next little while, since i'm stocking up now. i even found a rhinoceros hand puppet to tantalize Rhino with during playtime!
