Shipping is the key. For a second I thought dang I bought my fn too soon! But shipping from that site would have cost 60 more than kennel vet for me

you'd have better luck price matching kennelvet because its not a sale. that site says 'on sale' and it has to be a 'everyday price' so they will probably only match the everyday price of $179 from there.

They price matched that ad for me, Bam Bam. I'm just sayin'.

It certainly wouldn't hurt you to print out a bunch of ads and take them in together. I had the kings wholesale, kennelvet ad, and ferret.com all printed out. I pulled out the cheapest first and they price matched that one so I didn't need to use the others. But if they dispute the fact that its a sale price, you can go to the next cheapest ad with you.

I'm sure i'll have to do it again so i'll keep that place in mind and see how it goes. It stinks everyone else is having problems getting it price matched. I had no problems what so ever, I was all prepared for it not to go well to. I had the website print out of the price match policy and all and ready to ask for a manager if the woman would of said no to price match.

That's probably what I'll do with both Kennelvet and the Kings Whole Sale (bring in both adds)- it'll be cheaper with Kings if they let me do it without shipping but if they use the shipping price then Kennelvet will be cheaper. I'm going to go out tomorrow and see what happens.

good luck. hopefully they don't make you pay for the shipped price. I'd take both unshipped and shipped prices incase but don't let them see the shipped price if they don't ask for it

Yes, but Petsmart DID have them on sale for $179.99 when they had none in stock to sell -- so technically that's misleading advertising! When one finally came in, I pointed out I had been there a zillion times while it was on sale and they never had them -- so I got it for the $179.99.

Haha thanks! But yeah I'm not going to show them if they don't ask about it. I'm so excited to get it! If I can get them without shipping I'm going to get 2 of them. I'll let you know how it goes.

I printed out the ad from Kennel Vet yesterday and went down to Petsmart. They had one in stock (Yay!) but they were very reluctant to price match. I got them to give me $50 off (instead of the $80 off if they had price-matched). I was ok with that, since it still was cheaper than paying $45 for shipping. I made sure to mention to them that I'd rather give them my business than buy online, after all, some money is better than no money.

I got mine from pet supermarket. Not sure if any of you have any of them around you, but i got it for a pretty good price

Yeah I ended up getting mine price matched (with the shipping costs) but they told me that it was a one time thing because they just ended price matching the other day- I ended up returning it though because I ended up (finally) finding 2 on Craigslist for cheaper.

I got a price match at Petsmart the other day, not for a FN but for another cage. I didn't have any problems, I just gave the check out guy the print out and he called the manager over, she turned a key and done. It was all very easy. I checked their website, and they still have the price match stuff up there, if anyone has a problem I would call 1-800-738-1385 ext. 2518 I would have a BIG problem if they didn't price match, since it seems to be one of their big marketing focuses. Has anyone else noticed lately when you go into Petsmart they try and be SUPER helpful. Any time I have gone in there over the past couple of months, I get asked a few times if I need any help, what pet am shopping for etc

FN cage good for weanlings?

We actually just picked up that cage. Does anyone have any info on it (i.e.) are the slats too wide? Do I need to get some chicken wire to put up inside it? Or is it good just the way it is? We will be picking up a couple 8 week old chins, and don't want to lose them the first night.
