Ebony White color change

I LOVE ebony whites. I only have one (Lexi -- my avatar) but they are definitely my favorite color of chin.

I absolutely love this color! I just recently got my first mosiac and it actually seems like he is getting darker to me rather than lighter...is that a possibility or are my eyes fooling me?
