Drying Rosehips

I know there used to be a thread on this on the old site. Can someone please tell me how to dry organic rosehips for chins?

I'd like to add another question onto this one:

Can you use rose hips from wild roses as well? My grandma has no cultivated roses, but she does have wild ones around her house.

not sure if you have to wait after the 1st frost or if you can pick them as soon as they turn orange. i read somewhere about waiting till after 1st frost. i wanted to pick them too but not sure what to do exactly to make them chin'edible'
