I am partial with Tab. You also seem to have a clear set $$$ in mind. Something that shouldn't really be conscious especially if you're starting up. Also, if you do post pics of animals in very filthy conditions, no one will buy your animals because the negative reputation it creates. If you have cages getting caked with green, and kits with diarrhea, maybe there are too many for you to handle? As much as you feel that caring for them is sufficient, it may be just too much.
If you have pet animals, you need to rehome them, not so much the intention of "selling".

Which diahrrea?

No, I do not have a clear amount of money set in mind, you also have to consider that whenever you want to make a trip you have to save and make a plan to go, it's not like you can just go and spend lots of money to show that you are good breeder or something, I do want to go, and eventually I will, just have to see which one would be a good one for me to go, plus I would rather go in the spring than in the winter

Ok, guys, I just don't want to argue anymore, I will try to do my best with my breeding, my learning, and everything, and I will for sure go to a show, I really need to go to one, but I need time, and I am willing to change, and I am sorry if I showed like I was ignoring your suggestions or something, I did not mean to.
and will rehome this little girl, since for sure she won't be of good quality, too bad that at that time I wasn't able to pick right,

Quite some time ago I told you that you needed to get a respected mentor. I still don't think you have a mentor. Why not find one or even more than one to help you?

Who could I ask? I do chat sometimes with Cheryl and with Wendy, but I cannot be like asking them a whole bunch of questions and taking their time, I think it would be better if I could actually see them when I go to shows or something or maybe try to become more knowledgeable by reading more books or something, I don't know, I want to do something, but don't know where to start.

Asking questions is the whole idea of mentoring. They are there to help. As a pet owner, even I have a mentor to help me when things pop up. I don't see this person but can email them with any question or concern.

You need to see quality animals AND get some mentors. Find out if anyone on here is willing to help you and will be your mentor.

Ok, thanks, will do so, yeah, you are right, I do need someone that is willing to help me and answer some questions, will work on it

thanks so much :)

Just remember, you are the only one responsible for not getting ahead.

People can suggest, give help, opinions, knowledge, experience BUT cannot take your legs and make you walk.

Pick yourself up and start moving... JUST plainly stop waiting for people to do things for you.

Stop talking and giving excuse. You have been doing this from the beginning of times...

Just Do It!

Once you start picking yourself up and doing, things will change for you, until then... it is what it is.

Sincerely Good Luck Kathiva :)

You get plenty of answers on here - the problem, as many people see it (& as Peggy has mentioned in her excellent post), is that you don't seem to listen or take the advice on board............

Aren't there any breeders of quality chinchillas in Canada with whom you could meet???

CA chinchilla shows that you could attend???

Lynn...I don't believe there are shows in Canada anymore. There used to be one every year on the west coast, but that show has primarily moved to WA.

There are only a few good breeders left in Canada and most have washed their hands of Kathiva. No more shows either as no one wants to put the effort into doing one and there is hardly any interest. The last one that was in Ontario was at the Riedstra ranch a few years ago.

Lynn, as for mentors. Mine are in the US and in Vancouver on the other side of the country.
Actually, CnH is my first mentor in a way. I was told about the forum, I have read, heard, listen, applied most of what is said. I now have my mentors (breeders) small, medium, large. :)

Yeah, too bad I never made it to one show in Ontario :( and wished that there would be more people interested in getting together for a show
