I do the same as Crysta sometimes when I make too much. I just took a peak at the Lifeline jar and it says to discard a wet mix after 48 hours.

(The dates are estimates.)

5 Apr: Winnie started Baytril (0.2 ml twice a day) & Bene-Bac (pea size once a day). I noticed that we he started Baytril, he hardly touched his pellets.
7 Apr: Winnie stopped pooping altogether (including the diarrhea & I suspected it's because he wasn't eating), so I started Winnie on Critical Care (5 cc of dry volume) & increased the Bene-Bac to twice a day.
8/9 Apr: noticed that Winnie started pooping small, but hard poops. So I increased the Critical Care to 10 cc (dry volume).
10/11 Apr: Winnie started having diarrhea again.
11 Apr: last day of Baytril, but Bene-Bac will still have to be continued for another week. I'm still giving Winnie Bene-Bac twice a day.
12 Apr: starting to decrease the amount of Critical Care to 5 cc to encourage Winnie to start eating pellets on his own, but still bad diarrhea. But I noticed that he's starting to approach his food bowl (which I haven't seen him do since he started Baytril) & had a bite of shredded wheat .. but that's about it.

The recurring diarrhea is concerning me. Is this because I increased the Critical Care to 10 cc? I'm thinking about calling the vet tomorrow. Any ideas/suggestions? Thank you.

If this was my chin I would try some kaolin pectin, Pet Pecillin is the most common name, it will help sooth the digestive tract and help bind the poo. I use .3ml twice a day and it can be purchased at Petco/Petsmart in the dog/cat health section.

An update: since the last time I posted, it seems like Winnie wasn't getting any better with his diarrhea. So I called the vet & he prescribed Winnie another antibiotic (it's milky pink in color), he was on it twice a day for 7 days, each dose was 0.25 ml. That didn't help, so the vet prescribed Doxycycline (twice a day for 7 days, each dose of 0.2 ml). All these times, Winnie was (& still) on Bene-Bac. Winnie had finished his course of the milky pink antibiotic last week & he just finished his course of Doxycycline today. I started noticing improvements (solid poops!!) since 3 days ago. So I hope that he's in the clear now :)
