I have the other seasons on DVD...we don't have cable or satellite, so I have to buy them or rent them.

I always watch this show, it's crazy stuff! I don't eat crab since I don't like seafood, but I don't think I could seeing these guys risk their lives for it!
Crazy thing is, is there's a woman who I volunteer with and her son is on the Coast Guard up in Alaska, he's a pilot for the helicopters that go out and save the men after their boat sinks. Thankfully he didn't have to go out when the Katmai sank this season, but his good friend was on that helicopter ride. So she always watches the show wondering if she'll see her son. I can't imagine being in the Coast Guard up there. It'd be hard having to pick men out of the sea who have lost their lives.

I had watched this show religiously when it had first come on, and then kind of fizzled out of it for some reason. I haven't caught it this season yet, but I don't think I've missed too many yet...I'll have to start watching again. It's a job I would never want to do in a million years and you have to respect these guys for what they go through. I know I wouldn't want to be married to one of these guys, I would worry too much!

My husband and I love this show. My husbands uncle used to live in Alaska and went to the same bar as the captains. He has meet a few of them of course that was long before they were famous...lol

Ok, I caught the end of the show last night...I see some familiar faces and a lot of new faces. Guess I thought mainly the same crews would be going up season after season. But maybe I just need to catch more of the show. Again, what a tough way to make a living!
