Cuddle buddy toys

Has anyone ever gotten a cuddle buddy toy? I just want to know how safe they are for chinchillas. I would be affraid mine would just chew it rather than cuddle with it. He is an only-child chin and I just thought maybe it would be a good idea for him to have a little "friend" in his cage. I've contemplated adotping a baby chin but I would be affraid that since he has been an only-chin for so long, he won't like the idea of a chin companion. Any thoughts?

If you make your own cuddle buddy or buy one from someone who makes them for chinchillas they will be stuffed with strips of fleece. This would reduce the danger you would get from a stuffed animals that has fake fur, eyes and synthetic down that could be dangerous.
