I love coming home to two cute little fuzz butts :]

The baby is finally coming out of his shell a little and constantly wants attention. He's always at the cage bars and either wants to be held or for you to just open the cage and interact with him or watch him. Tonight, however, when I came home I realized a very deep line across his face in his fur. He must have jumped right into the bars of the FN :/ Hope he doesn't have a headache poor thing.
Kingston is getting used to something hopping around above, he was quite bothered at first, but he's settled down now. I've been trying to bond with him more through playtime but he's still a bit more interested in the room.
They both seem happy and healthy so far. The baby has better poops than Kingston did at first and he began drinking and eating right away. They still haven't gotten to see each other, other than Kingston running around through playtime I guess he could see him from the top floor. I'll be waiting quite a while before intros as I'm nervous to see how Kingston will treat the baby and I want to make sure everyone is healthy and happy in their new cages.

So yeah, that's my little update. I really love these guys, they're personalities are so different, I never imagined such wonderful pets!

Sounds like he's settling in nicely! Could the line be from bar biting vs running into the sides of the cage? Spooky gets a funny line on her nose from bar biting our Quality Cage.

Very true Gella, same thing happens here too from biting the bars! Though... sometimes Sesame does run into her cage by accident when zooming around like a nutcase... She's a special chin.

The more fuzzbutts, the better, and I'm envious of all of you who have more than one! Glad to hear your new one is settling in so well. Hopefully a future intro will go great.

Well last night went a bit different, he barked quite a bit and I got up 3 times throughout the night thinking he was dying because he barks sound like squeeky little screams. Kingston does it too sometimes, I closed my window thinking maybe it was too cold, but I don't know what he wanted. He seemed fine every time I got up, he was just sitting there. He really likes someone to be around him though, maybe he misses his family he was caged with his mother, father, and brothers. Today I'm building his playground/hide for his cage. Its gonna be quite the accessory and hopefully he and Kingston will eventually be able to share it. :]

i hate when they do that in the middle of the night! and then you go and check on them and they are just fine and all they wanted was a little "hello"!

Even though they can't see each other, those noises could also be them communicating with each other. I know that when I had just gotten my two boys the baby was 10 weeks old and the other one was 10 months old and when I had them in the bathroom for playtime, the older one jumped into the tub to explore it but the baby couldn't jump that high so he was just hopping around making lots of noises as if he was calling for him because he couldn't see him. As soon as CJ would hop back out of the tub the baby stopped making those noises. I'm sure they were communicating with each other. :))

Maybe that's the case, hopefully they were saying nice things lol. I'm scared to do intros, I've heard so many horror stories about cage mates, and Kingston would be fine alone but Kurt I'm not sure. Kurt uses the hammock though so that makes me happy ^-^

Good luck with your intros, Haley. I bet they were saying nice things and just tried to wake you up to come play :)

Don't be scared. Although I was nervous too but my breeder did the intros for me. When I saw the breeder put the kit in with the older chin, I started to freak because it looked like the older one was trying to get on top of the baby alot. I thought it wanted to hurt the baby but that was not the case. When its time for your 2 boys just be ready for anything but think good thoughts ;)!

If I ever get a fourth chin, I'm pretty sure I want one that looks like Kingston. My new guy is also always at the cage bars and he follows me. Although he won't have being held. He will run around and around in circles if I try to go for him. Hopefully he will give in sometime soon.

Kingston's doing that lately, he chirps to me and follows me but still wont let me pick him up.

They were saying how awesome their owner was, and i cant wait to see your playground, oyu have awesome inventions!
