Chins and TV??

I thought my chins previous owner was nuts when she told me to put "The Jeffersons""The Odd couple" "Cheers" and "Frasier" on for him! He loves those shows! He will hear the first few notes of the theme songs and drop whatever he has and race to the "TV watching ledge" lol! "Katie and Orbie" and "Pingu" are faves too. Lately he stares at the TV whenever Michael Jackson is on, which has been a lot! What's up with that? There is one show he hates-Sex and the city! I kidd you not, he takes off into his house and will not come out if that comes on. Maybe one of the gals wears fur! lol!

My girls sit together and watch me while I'm on my computer. But when the tv is on at night, they hop around their cage like crazy. Pikachu does like to watch tv after she calms down.

My chin does the same thing when I'm on the computer! I think it's so funny. When I look over he just is sitting there looking at me.
He also does enjoy watching TV. I think cartoons are his favorite.

Yep my boys do the same thing.

I have "I Love Lucy" on all the time (I'm obsessed) and whenever they hear that theme song they both settle in together to watch.

I keep waiting for them to pull out a bucket of popcorn and a coke :laughitup:

When I put Skitzo in his ferret nation cage it was/is set up in s doorway between the dining room and living room.
He LOVES IT!!!! He plays through the bars with the dogs. He comes and sits on the ledge for belly rubs and watches tv with us.
He likes being able to go from side to side and see what is going on around him.

I turn the tv on in the bedroom where Pepper (the other chin) the rabbits (when it's not too hot to be outside) & the Guinea Pig stay in the evenings.
They are home alone during the day and it is sort of quite.

Skitzo is like a different Chin and I like it!!!:dance3:

Spooky hates music/noise of any kind, but Specter doesn't mind either way. When she was in quarantine in the living room at our old house she would watch Cash Cab with me ).

Barry Manilow could care less about TV. Meatball, however, watches tv. I could never tell what his likes or dislikes are until just recently I've noticed when Southpark is on he races to his ledge and soaks it in!

Tribble enjoys watching TV from her cage, though all she's interested when she's out is running around, jumping off the walls, and popcorning. She seems to enjoy anything I watch, including Dark Angel, X-files, Dexter, Nurse Jackie, and a huge other assortment of shows and movies. She also loves it when I put on music or sing to her... She seems to prefer my mother's singing more.

I used to leave the TV on all night for my chin, but he doesn't seem interested.
The TV was about 7 feet away from the cage & I'm thinking if that's too far for the chin to see?
How far do people place their TV's away from the chin cage?

when mine start to get excited/rowdy I plan fur elise by Beethoven and they settle down, they also like to pick up the head phones and run off with them like a dog with a stick in it's mouth (; LOL
