I am trying to find a chin spin wheel, but I just can't find one. Also, I like the Flying Saucer wheel, but it is about $90.00, and I'm not sure if my chin will use it. Which wheel will work better?

all my chins use that wheel - and the $90 is well worth the price Others will tell you how to get the chin spin, which a lot of people like

I agree, the money is worth it for the flying saucer. I have 3 of them, and all 5 of my chins know how to use them, even the chin that came from a ranch never seeing a wheel before.

I have never tried the flying saucer but my boys love their chin spin from the link that Tara posted. Total cost with shipping was $65.63.

My chin has NO clue what the flying saucer is. I'd go with the chinspin. Although i got the flying saucer from Petsmart, so it may not be the same as the $90 one.

You can see it on the link that Inkeduptara posted above. It's the 3rd one down. I believe the one at Petsmart is the plastic one and from what I've heard it is not stable and can come apart easily, also not good if the chin is into chewing plastic.

the flying saucer from petsmart (or any other pet store) is a big joke. No chin will use those lousy plastic things. The expensive one is metal and really works. My chins love them

I'm going to buy Phoenix a chin spin. She likes running on her wheel now and it is similar to the chin spin. I was also wondering about the flying saucer but I'm going to go with the least expensive and if it doesn't work I will get the other one.
:)

My chins have the Chin Spin and love it. My girl, Twilight, figured it out immediately while my boy, Midnight, figured it out about 3 months later. Shadow (my other boy) won't go on it. Maybe someday.

Forgot to say that I got them both at Quality Cage. The shipping was $20 for both. I think it's absolutely worth it. It's something that can last for years. I held off for so long because of money and fear that they wouldn't like it. Worst case, you could sell it to someone on here, there are always people looking for them.

Both wheels are great. My chin has a Chin Spin and she loves it. It has to be her favorite thing in the world. With mine, I do have a tighten the bolt on the back of the wheel periodically, as over time it'll start to get loose and shake/make lots of noise.

If for some reason your chin doesn't use/can't figure out how to use the Flying Saucer, I'm sure you can easily sell it through the Classifieds on the forum.

I got both my chins from breeders who had them caged in runs and it took them maybe a couple of minutes fiddling with the chin spin but they figured out how to use it right away.
