Do your chins respond to any particular nickname or alias you give them? I just randomly started calling Bryson "Butternut Squash” :) He keeps popcorning when I say it..... haha. If you ever hear on the news about Butternut Squash killing someone, I swear, I try to keep his cage closed at all times.

I have a few nicknames for Gizmo... handsome man, handsome peanut, mr. roundness, chunky monkey, and his favorite is "chunk" when I say it funny..he gets all excited and popcorns all over his cage!

When I can't remember someone's name I resort to nicknames of all sorts. Porkchop, sweetpea, hunny bunny, punkin, hun bun, etc etc... I think I'm getting old and senile or something because I often forget a chin's name even though I know what it is... uggg...

AZ- with so many chins it's impressive that you know all their names!!

Nicknames: when I'm referring to them collectively they are the Fuzz-butts or Furmites

Lily- Ms. Bean, Bean, The Bean, princess, q-pie

Donna-Chubs, Fatzo, Don-Don, Sweetheart

Pythagoras- Gus-Gus, Gus, Gustafur, nugget, my little prince

Wilbur- Fat man, mister man, or fat fat

Templeton- Little man, little moosh

lol...we use chunky monkey also for my poof ..and peanut well he ended up nut-nut..funny how we call them our "pet names" ah got to love them..

I call Chula "Chula-choo". For Riku and Roxas I usually just call them "daddy" and "baby" even though they are almost the same size now. Buttons I periodically call "Boo-Boo".

Yep a few of mine do have names they recognize.

Ava is "Mommy". She was a rescue used for breeding. She had a litter of suprise babies here and I just started calling her mommy. Kind of stuck.

Mr. Wilson is Mr. J Due to the fact that he races sideways around his cage sometimes like a flying squirrel. I date myself when I say Rocket J Squirrel.

Jack has been here the longest. Six years in Jan. He was the only chin here for quite a while. So he bonded with me pretty tight. He answer's to Baby Jack. When I let him out to run around during cage cleaning time, I call for him saying.......BABY JACK and he comes back to see what I need. And then runs back to exploration. He's so darned precious. When that heart condition takes his mortal soul one day I shall be crushed. He's my bud.

Pip is Pippy or Baby Pip.

Sunni and Olivia get called my sweet dust bunnies.

Thomas gets called puffer-lumper because he's a tank. I'm not sure the boy has legs. :hilarious:

Lily gets called Precious Pea.

They are rotten here.
Stinking rotten.

Shadow - buster brown (my husband calls him that even though I say he's black not brown haha) and chunkers or chunk-a-dunk

Spaz - spazzy and crazy boy

Tubz - Tubberz, freak, etc...

I think that Shadow has more because we have had him the longest, but I also couldn't pick names for Spaz and Tubz. They are bonded brothers and one freaked out about everything and they other was bigger and always was eating... So, i named them Spaz and Tubz...

All my boys do know their names, and their nick-names
King Tibbit
Joey Joey Gumdrops
Louey the Loser
Doesha came with his name, and he knows it so I didn't change it. He doesn't really have much of a nick-name except sometimes we call him Mr. Doesha

Mine get lots of nicknames. Default for both are "Baby". When they are acting up they become "Sir", as in "Excuse me Sir! Don't chew on that."
Bowie also gets "ChubChub" (when he looks especially round), also "Booger Butt" and "Bowie Monster" because of the additude.
Ziggy gets to be confused by "Zigger" and "Scraggle Butt"- since he was sorta scraggley when we rescued him and "My Little Honey".

I hope my chins don't develop multiple personality disorders!

All my chins have nicknames! And I do think they know what they are!
Abigail is also Peepers, Babagail or Babby
Solange really doesn't have one I guess because hers is Princess Solange lol!
Leonard is Wenard
Mick St. John is Mickers
Wesley is WesWee
Bobo is Bobee
GiGi is Beejer Bee of Beejer
OOPS! Bronwyn and baby Lisa chin DON'T have nicknames! But I do call Bronwyn big sister--as in she's such a good big sister to baby Lisa chin! I guess technically Lisa's nickname is baby as I think she'll always be baby Lisa chin to me and others on the forum.

Rosey is "Rosey-toes-freckly-nose", or "Miss Bud"

Jasmine is "Baby J" or "The Wriggler"

Poppy is "Pop-top" or "Toppins"

I love my girls!!!

Mitten is Mittie or Mittzi
Laffy is Blackie
Diaper is baby

haha but so far only mitten reacts to Mittie or Mittzi.. =)

Marble's nick names are Fuzzy, Fatso, Cutie, Big butt, the poof-ball and Ed likes to call him Marb. Thats pretty much it but I have some for when he's being difficult to catch that are a little more colorful so I won't share them.

All four of my chins are have "poo" attached to every name I call them; it just goes so well b/c of course they do poo a lot and it makes a good ending to any name out there.

Pip: Pippy, Pipster, Pippy Longstocking, and Pepe

Oscar: Actually I don't think I call him anything other than his name but I have on occasion called him Oskipoo which horrified a few folk, lol.

Max: Maxi and Imax b/c he's a big boy

Zeke: Zekey, Lil Peanut and my husband refuses to call him anything except for Scruffy even though he's not that scruffy anymore.

Collectively: Chillas, The Boys, Fluffs, Furballs, Poopsters and My Angels

I hardly ever call mine by their real names Anabel and Jezebel. I've got all kinds of names:

Annie
Annie Bananie
Jez
chlli burgers
chili muffins
the bells
hefalumps
buggy
buggaboo
