some stories need to have a "tear" icon next to them or something. reading this while in class was not a good idea.

im so sorry for your loss. just be assured that you did everything you could. making a 3 hour drive, thats some real dedication. please know that youre a great chin owner for staying by his side the whole time. some chins die alone but its good he saw you til the very end. i hope that in time, you feel ok again. and maybe dont get another chin for a while.

I am so sorry that you lost your chin. I agree, I wish they would give us an earlier indication that something is wrong so we can help them sooner, before it is too late. But your chin is not suffering any longer and will be watching over you.

Thanks guys really much. It's weird not having him the house anymore, I sometimes forget he's no longer alive and expect him to be in his cage. It saddens me to see his cage empty when I come to feed him or see him. Especially not having him in my arms anymore. And I really sorry for putting some desciption about what happened. I really had no intentions making you guys feel sad. I just thought I had to put an update. Well thanks a lot guys =)

We're here for the good and the bad. We're just sorry you had to lose your friend. We've all been there and it is so tough. It will get easier over time and maybe you can get another chin someday to help fill the void.
