chin ate piece of thread

Cloud may have eaten a piece of thread. How bad is this? I am going to keep a careful watch on his eating and pooping, is there anything else I should do? He isn't acting any different than usual. I swear now that he's learned to jump high,nothing is safe from him!

Keep doing what you're doing. If food intake, poops, drinking, etc. changes then head to the vet. If not, then it will likely have passed.
