I figure I'll be staying in the Hermiston area but maybe not. Since I lost my night job finances have been very tight and I'm trying to sell the music store and find a place to move so I don't have to pay rent here any more. I'm hoping for a place large enough for the chins and maybe somewhere I can host a show as well.

Ronda

Spokane isn't so bad Ronda! Claire is insisting I come to the show with her to get away from Spokane and unwind. Unless something comes up health wise I look forward to seeing everyone! Not sure if I have anything worth showing though, since selling off half the herd. Who knows maybe I'll grab to old farts, and rename them sh*t n giggles, and support the club that way! LOL

I have looked at places around Spokane but nothing has fit the bill yet. I'm glad you are coming and bring those old chins. Supporting the club is what it's all about - otherwise I wouldn't bring full strings - way to much work grooming that many animals.

It's going to be great to see you and all the other chin people. It's been way too long since we've gotten together...

Do any of you have dark-extra dark pure female standards avaible? I have a Lowe Recessive White and I need 6 really nice standards for him.

-Thanks!

Maybe you can find some nice standard females at the show. Then at least you can see how well they place. Are you bringing your Lowe rec. white to the show? That would be the best way to have him evaluated and choose females which compliment him.

Hey, sounds like this show is coming together! I'd like to come down, but i probably wont be bringing any chins, Rosco my champ had a stommach issue this past june and he's not up to show shape, poor guy, he'd sweep all your males off the table :p heehee....

Also wanted to ask if any of you guys have spare runs? or colony cages? Im in the market for some more. :) Also maybe another breeding pair, but we'll see about the breeding pair if I still have a job by the end of august....

Thanks!

Do you need any help now? What are you doing for lunch? I am not bringing any animals so If you want I can make sandwiches and stuff while I'm there. Theresa

Okay, great idea!

Thank you for the offer. But everybody will be on their own for lunch. There are places nearby that people can go for lunch. Or of course you can bring something with you.

Hey, gang, sorry I've been absent but have had a busy summer.

Okay, no banquet this year, but I can recommend a nice, affordable restaurant nearby the show location where if some of you want to gather on your own, I can announce that at the show.

They have mostly Italian food but plenty of choices. Great Calamari!

Hope that's okay with everyone. Hopefully next year we can have an official banquet. Right now the chapter just needs to regain funds and most places want a deposit to reserve space, especially on a weekend evening.

See you all soon,

Could always take deposits ahead of time (granted it is only a few weeks off) to do a banquet. Most places have a hard time seating a large group of more than 10.

Sue,

I think it would be a good idea to have a banquet. As Tara says we can accept reservations on attendees. The banquet is a great place to relax after the show and swap lies - oops stories.... After the show we will all need a bit of relaxing before hitting the road again. Let me know if you want me to do anything.

Also, I plan on bringing wood to the show and some dust. If anybody wants extra dust I need to know how much as chins and wood are going to be taking up a lot of room in my car this year.

Ronda

Thanks, Ronda & Tara, and maybe next year. We only have a week to go. Not enough time to collect from people. Last year everyone just left after the show, no one came to the restaurant, and I had to cancel a couple of hours beforehand to save my deposit. No money for that this year, sorry.

See you soon,

Wow - I don't even remember that there was a banquet for last year. Guess I'm getting older.....
