Thank you! She came through surgery well, and visibly the docs say it looks good, but we'll have to wait on the biopsies of the surrounding lymph nodes they did while they were in to remove the mass.

Well, I thought I'd post an update, and with everything everyone is battling right now w/ cancer, I thought you'd like to hear something POSITIVE!!!
My grandmother had her surgery to remove the mass in her breast and they removed several lymph nodes for biopsy as well. They believe they got all of the mass (it was very small), and the biopsies on the surrounding nodes all came back negative for cancer. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!
She is in her 2nd week of 28 days of radiation (as a precautionary measure) and things look good.
