can I use this for bathing?

I was going to give Mel a bath because he has been very itchy (I looked for mites but he doesnt seem to have quill loss so I dont think he has them. Maybe just dry skin?), so my mom bought some body wash and I was wondering if it would be safe to use and if the itching doesnt clear up after a bath should I treat him for mites just in case? It is equate sensitive skin. It says it is "soap free, moisture rich formula to help keep sensitive skin soft and smooth". Is this safe to use?

Just to add here are the ingredients:

Personally, I would only use Aveno baby wash. If your little one has dry sking, I would not neceserly wash her with soap/wash but had some oatmeal to her water so it soothes the skin.

I have used equate for sensative skin on my own body and I would never use it again. I sneeze like crazy and it bothers my skin. And I'm not normally sensative to things. I just used it because that's what my friend uses. But yea I wouldn't use it on myself so I would have to say no to thw hoggie use too.

The best thing for dry skin (if it is not caused by mites) is to put oatmeal in a pantyhose sock, put it in the bath water, and maybe add a few drops of olive oil. If the hedgie is dirty or you feel you need to use soap, the baby Aveeno or the Aveeno with oatmeal are the most recommended.
