So I am in the market for a new cage for my fuzzbutt. The only problem is, I don't know how much room I am going to have in a few months, but I need a new cage ASAP. I already know I want the ferret nation but I am having trouble deciding whether or not to spring for a double unit or stick with the single, and if I need more room buy the add on. I know that it is cheaper to buy the double in the long run (if I have the extra room) but i'm willing to pay a little crunch fee for the good of my chinchilla.

Basically, for a single chinchilla, should I stick with the single?

Thanks

Chinchilla kisses,

The double should ideally take up the same amount of room.

Unless you have higher ceilings, it won't be a problem. It won't take up any additional floor space.

I got the double for mine and while I did get another chin recently, I will have no objections with getting him his own if they do not get along. My baby loves having that entire cage to jump around in and I wouldn't want it any other way.
