Buying Wood for Chewing Fun

Hello everyone,

I've looked for a thread similar to what I need, but haven't seen it.

I used to buy wood from Pet Products by Nature. Sadly, as many of you know, she is closing her store, may God bless her and her health.

So, I wanted to know if anyone could recommend some other great places to get small logs or fun wood treats for my chins.

I like the larger pieces of wood because they don't lose them as easily.

I ordered, what I can't find in my back yard, from your chin store galore; my chins seem to love their wood. However, I don't think anyone is going to have as much of a wide varitety as pet products by nature.

I second Ronda for wood, she has several types and its obvious by looking at her quality she cares!

I prefer to get my wood from qualitymutationchinchillas.com which is your chin store galore. I've seen her process for preparing wood and she does an amazing job making sure it all looks great. My chins go crazy for her willow, pear and apple...it's madness in the chinchilla room when they get her wood. I also have some willow perches from her and a few of the chin cages couldn't stop chewing the perches until they were a tiny nub on the side of the cage, lol. She also gets some of her wood from PPBN.
