Hi everyone! I'm moving into an apartment and am considering having a home security alarm hooked up. I know that the siren is measured at 90 decibles but I just want to make sure that in the case of the alarm going off, that it wouldn't permanently damage or harm Gary's ears/hearing. I have considered keeping him in the spare bedroom which is pretty far away from the keypad where the noise comes from but would really like to keep him in the living room which is a lot closer to the keypad. Help!!

He'll be fine. Chins have an identical hearing structure to humans which is why they are the most popular animal used in ear testing (infections/antibiotics/auditory response).
