Enchanted Chins

A good friend of took a job out of state and moved the first of the year. She had two pets a cat and a bunny. Her new rental would only allow one pet, so she took her cat. You see where this is going right? LOL I told karen I would take the bunny in and help find her a proper home. Neither one of us wants her to to be rehomed over and over again, as Karen has had her for 3-4 years. The first thing I did when I picked her up was to put her in a much larger cage. She's a big girl, looks to be a lop mix. I am keeping her in my spare bedroom away from my cats and chins. She's pretty good about using her litterbox in her cage and rarely if ever potties outside the cage when I let her out to run in the room. She's very sweet and will run over to me and stop and want to be petted. She reminds me of a little dog, certainly the tamest bun I've ever seen. She also has a foot fetish! Loves to lick my feet and legs, yuck! LOL I am getting attached, but I have enough on my plate with the other critters and I promised Chris she was only staying until a suitable home is found. So, now what? Both Karen and I are going to be picky about where she is placed. We don't want her kept outside, she's always been indoors. I know there are big rabbit rescues in STL and KC but I am 2-3 hours away from each and just can't drive that right now. I would prefer to screen people myself I think.
Sorry for rambling...anyone have any input? Or know someone that could give her the home she deserves? I appreciate any help
