She peed while I was at work, and there was only a small spot of blood this time. I gave her a foot bath when I got home and she obliged me by pooping and peeing. The blood is definitely coming from her vulva area and not her anus. The good news is that there was only a very small amount of blood when she peed in the bath too. I'm hoping maybe the antibiotics are starting to kick in.

Phew! Here's hoping the meds are starting to do their job.

Now would be about the time Miss Phoebe decides she doesn't want to eat on her own, right?

Aww, she wants to be like her big sister! The offer still stands to send Cuda along to show them how to best utilize the food dish.

At least it is coming from where you initially thought. Hopefully she will finally kick this thing.

Ronnie is still chugging along. There is a small spot of blood every time she pees, but no more of the huge blood stains that scared me so badly. The vet says that if the blood isn't cleared up by the antibiotics that he will give her a shot of a hormone inhibitor - sorry, I can't remember the name of it. She is still eating really well and otherwise seems normal. I wish the blood would clear up completely though!

I am glad to hear she is doing better, and hope for a full recovery.

I couldn't find any blood at all in Ron's cage this morning. I hope this means the antibiotics are working and she'll recover. Now if I could only convince Phoebe that food tastes just as good from a bowl as it does from a syringe...

I don't know Sandi........those two little toddlers sure like to keep you on your toes at ALL times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
