Since I haven't shared any bird pictures on here, I thought I'd claim bragging rights and share pictures of my babies. Each has their own personality, and think of me as their slave (which is true!) So when I'm not busy with the Chins, and kids, I'm cooking for, and cleaning up after them! LOL

Wow, I'm envious! What gorgeous birds! You must be extremely busy. I have only one cockatiel and she is very demanding of my time. I can't imagine caring for so many!

Some of them are breeders and prefer their own, and only want limited interaction with me. The others are out in the main part of the house, and often are out of the cages, on play tops, or munching on the $$$ worth of toys I spend on them each month! Plus we have 4 older children, so it's your basic circus act around here with lots of humans to entertain them.
Another thing that helps is my birds are not needy birds for the most part. I teach all my birds to entertain themselves to a certain degree. They love their scritches, but don't demand my presence by screaming all the time. Don't get me wrong, they are spoiled but polite bird children if that makes sense? Well polite unless their talking back..... Somethings you just can't get threw to children! LOL

Mr Blue is part of a pair, and wants a piece of me! Raging hormones!

They are just gorgeous! Wow, I am so amazed at how pretty they are, Mr. Blue really is something. How do you clean up after that many birds, or do not all birds throw anything and everything they can find (not unlike chins) on the floor?

I might have two good birds out the batch! LOL Nah I keep things consistant. Same cages ( powder coated stacker units), food dishes etc for the breeders. Makes everything easier. I also began using pine shavings once I got into the chins. I didn't have to clean out the cages every day, now I do every other days. Weekends suck though, cause that's major cage cleaning day... (groan)
Oh and as for throwing things on the floor, its more fun to throw it at the human talking to you!

Wow what gorgeous birds you have there!! Do any of them talk or have certain things they say alot. By neighbor has a macaw that calls her husband the beer head and calls her the beer head lover lol

Those birds are gorgeous!!! I think the larger, colorful birds are very interesting. And really smart too!

Yes they do talk. Keeta the bat aka Grey hanging upside down talks the most. He says Thank you Momma, Keeta Banana, wanna banana? Mom, Go potty, What, Achoo, and when the phone rings he holds a conversation, and ends it with uh huh ok byebye...
Shiloh says Pretty ****, Shiloh pretty ****, good ****, and will get really low on her perch, wave her wings and say Goodbye to most visitors.
Patch we don't know what he is saying half the time, but he does tell the dogs to shut up!
