Bedding to fleece?

Hey fellow chinchilla owners,

I just got my chinchilla today! I have bedding for him right now but was doing some more research & read that you can put fleece on the bottom too? Is this actually okay to do? If not fleece, is there any sort of material that can be used instead of bedding?

I use fleece and it works great. You can tile the bottom in place of bedding but I'm not 100% sure on how to go about doing it.
