Sorry about Rocco. I am not a new chin owner, but I did learn something from you sharing this experience. You mentioned the vet saying the back injury may not have happened if he were held better. I know from experience with Trixie, that when she starts struggling because she is anxious to get back into her cage from playtime, it is hard to keep a good grip..and a couple of times I almost lost her. But I am learning to hang onto her better when I do carry her back to her cage.

I'm so sorry about Roco, RIP. This guy as no excuse, even if you could "stud" a chin, he should have asked you in the first place.

That is the most awful thing I have ever heard. I can not even believe that some one that claims to know about animals could do something so thoughtless and horrible. I am very sorry for your loss- . I can not even imagine what you are going through.

I am so very sorry for your loss. 
He didn't have to die, and I'm sure that he knows that and that's the hardest part. NO animal should be introduced to another without the permission of the owner! For any reason! It's possible that injury alone could have killed a chin, they can be so delicate. I really hope this guy realizes how responsible he was for this outcome.
Again I am so very sorry, and I do hope you open your heart to another fuzzball sometime and stay here at CnH. The world needs more responsible pet owners like you, and less like your girlfriend's manager. We all start out as newbies like you said, no shame in that, you did the right thing in researching proper care and keeping Rocco's best interests at heart.

Omg i am sooooo sorry for your loss. I would be soooooo mad at the manager whom you left him with. Even if he didnt know about introducing chins the "right" way he shouldn't be breeding peoples animals without them ok-ing it. Thats just not cool. "rip rocco"
