I found a used FN on Craigslist for $130, but it's 100 miles away. Is this a good deal/idea? Or should I just abandon ship and wait patiently for another chance to crop up a little closer to home?

:hmm:

It's a good deal, but once you pay gas, well. You could have bought a new one, plus some accessories

Yeah, I don't think it would be a good deal, especially since it will be used and not new.

I almost made a deal on one for 100 (was listed 150) but it was 4 hours total round trip to pick it up... I decided not to get it and posted it on here for anyone closer.

BUT for me I work graveshift at a hopsital and my days off are very far and few between and it wasnt worth the time id take me to travel to get it to save $100.00

SO I would say if it is listed for 130 ask to pay 80 cash... they might go up then say 90 cash tops and if they make the deal then probably worth it depending on the time you have to get it.

Hope that helps lol ;)

I say wait a bit longer. I looked on CL everyday for 6 months, and waited patiently. I got a FN for $80.

Edit: Just saw your last post, so nevermind. :p
