The show was a great success. Hopefully, the unit can continue to grow as time goes by. Considering this was our first show, I think the turnout was more than expected. I had a great time, and now I'm really out of it. I just got home about 2 hrs ago and put over a dozen new chins in their cages. I'm pooped, and now broke. I got to bring home Randy's Grand Show, but I just realized I have no females for him. Looks like I have to go and buy a new chin building now.

I didn't even think about taking any pictures of the people there! I haven't had a camera in so long, I'm amazed I even remembered to bring and use it.

Just got home after driving all night. It got so foggy I could hardly see the front of the car once I hit Ohio. Did not make for a quick trip home. It was a very fun show and it was nice to see so many new people interested in the betterment of chinchillas. Thanks to all who bought animals from me as that was what made it possible for me to attend.

We had a great time. Thanks so much for posting those photos. I didn't get a picture of my Reserve Champ on the table and your shot was great.

Randy, it was great to see you again. I hope you didn't leave too far behind us. We had terrible weather driving home!!

Will there be a listing of how everybody did by class?

Great pictures Ann!

I hate that I could not make the show - it looks GREAT from the pictures! Maybe next year...

Well done on all the hard work to everyone involved.

So, can someone post all the stats? How many chins, breeders, who took what (not just the top of the table) etc.

Hey Tiffany, the little tov white girl you saw will probably be for sale; she will need a nice studly male and with her lineage a top of the table standard from Jags sounds perfect!

Yes the Reserve was my boy.
And I had a mosaic boy that took a second.

Very nice show. Well done

For those of you on the forum that don't know, my last name is Yarboro ;-)

Haha... I asked Randy about your black girl before the show started, as I wanted to get her. Then I found out you got her after the show started :p You can just sell her to me Kayla. She'd go great with the GSC ;-)

Shelli - I'll take her. You know I will! I just have to find room. I'm up to over 50 chins now! The 10 I got from Ralph are AMAZING!!

Cheryl van Luvender won the baby derby. I think my little mosaic guy came in second.

i pretty much had a heart attack waiting for Shoots to decided the grand show. he took forever on it. it was so close. i wouldve bought the grand show but you got to it before me. such is life.

i came home with three black velvets, two ebonies, two whites, and a standard. i wanted to come home with more but ran out of room in the car.

I just came home with my violet boy, but he's beautiful and I love him muchly already. :D

I also won a carrier worth $70 (I asked Linda, who made it) so apparently my little violet was meant to be.
