2010 Oklahoma State Show 12/4/10

1100 miles "just for the ride"?! UGH! That would be okay by plane, but if I'm sitting in a car for 1100 miles there better be cute cowboys, dancing, gorgeous chins, etc. at the destination!

I'm going to look into Quarter Horse ranches near OK City that offer cutting lessons! Now that would be an added bonus for the weekend!! :hmm:

I hear there is a big horse show of some sort that weekend out there also. The OK show is a little closer than the Orlando show I attended last year. I left here by myself Thursday night, Showed Saturday and was home Sunday night for that one.

AQHA World is in November, but I'll have to see what's going on in December!

Orlando, yikes! Now that screams "PLANE!" to me!!

Does anyone know who won what we were not able to go

I heard Joe Brown took standard Grand Show, Ellis took Res. GS, Joe took Mute Grand Show with a black and Res GS Mute with an eb.

I heard that also. Joe also had first breeder award for standards and Ellis had second. Tammara took first breeder for mutes and I think Joe took second.

Randy is correct. Brenda, you should know...you were calling Gene and interrupting the show!

I only called once in the am while they were still grooming adn tlaked to Gene and Jim. When I called at night, Gene's phone was already off, so I didn't get results til the next morning. LOL!!
There is another blonde that calls Gene that I know of. I cannot even guess who else he has calling him hehehe

I did not call during the show!! I requested Gene call me with updates, and I got the update after the show had been over for a few hours! Wasn't me!!! Let's blame the racing guys for calling at inopportune times. They bug him all the time!! :tease:
