I am going to be buying a new cage in a month or so...Im looking at the ferret nation cages but I see the bottom tray is plastic and the sections that divide the cages? what is the easiest way to modify them ... or maybe I am looking at them wrong and the divider is metal? I dont know I haven't...

I think you have every right to charge an adoption fee....and ur adoption fee is very reasonable....Ive been following your story about the chins and any chin owner knows the costs that go into chins !!!! people also charge adoption fees to ensure animals are not going to be other "pets " food...

oxbow and mazuri are also sold at petco....what are you feeding her now? some chin owners find mazuri makes mushy poops but mine and others was fine on it any food depends on the individual chin .... some chins will be picky when doing a pellet switch.....I had to change feed and did a cold...

Chin should have a bottle...the ball thing at the end can get stuck depends on the different bottles sometimes if you screw the cap to tight on some it can be hard for the water to get out..if the bottle is on the outside of the cage take an elastic and mark the water level that was you can...

Yes I am thinking she is like "what is this in my cage" when I changed her house she was fine...loved the new one...new toys she is good but this hay rack is puzzling....Ill grab some mixed hay and maybe that will entice her !!

yes if I throw the hay in the bowl or corner of the cage she eats it ...I think she is scared of the hanging mounted small hay rack its low enough for her to reach right in and I even have the hay hanging out of it spilling over she just wont go near it ....weird huh

sometimes U can refurbish old toys by drilling a hole in them and stringing them together in a new way with sisal rope, or vines, or willow ...if they loose interest I take them out clean them and then let them have them a week later...also if they are wood toys Ill sand the chewed parts and...

I have just placed hay in a corner of the cage before as my chin throws it all over anyways....in a ceramic bowl this helped with the mess ( a little) ....and most recently a wooden hay rack which I have yet to see if this makes any difference.....from what I have read all over the forums chins...
