Yes, the registration forms are the same. You can print them off of our website - www.mutationchinchills.com if you would like them ahead of time. You can even fill them out online and print it from there.

As far as the show system goes, ECBC just classifies whites in groups of pink ears and grey ears at shows. MCBA has several white classifications - predominantly white, white with dark guard hair, white with pink/beige, mosaic, and silver. As a judge who gets stuck classifying quite often...

Yes, there is a fee to be listed on the website as well as the paper newsletter, for both groups. If any members are interested in being listed - I handle that for MCBA, so just let me know if you have questions. Or if you are interested in being a member as well! :)

I completely agree with Wendy. I do not rely on weights at all. I rarely weigh my chins and when I do it is either out of curiosity, or because a customer requests it. I rely on evaluating many qualities, with size being one, but not necessarily the actual weight of the animal.

My beached whale FINALLY gave up a healthy set of twins this morning - a violet boy and a carrier girl. Yay!! Hang in there in Ohio!!

Nothing has been decided yet as to a seminar or field day, but there are some ideas and options being kicked around right now. Doing a bit more research and need more info before I can say for sure. I'll keep you posted. :)
