WHen you get your emitter, perhaps you can connect it to a thermostat (there is a contraption for the emitter so that it will only turn on when the temp drops below what you set it at). Let us know how the running goes.

The hedgehogs need to be separated, immediately please. Your hedgehog is very stressed out and needs her space. She is likely pregnant. Please read the breeding section as you have a LOT to prepare for. Your brother will be fine, just keep the wound clean until it heals.

This is a tricky one. It is hard to tell if an animal is fully healthy and despite all the precautions, all animals get sick. It is more important that the hedgie is a good fit for you (temperment wise) since illness may be difficult to figure out unless you find a good reputable breeder and...

Welcome back to the forum Penny. I always think maybe I'll stop having hedgies after each one passes because it is just so painful. Yet here we are, still at it. I guess once one touches our lives, they'll always have a hold on us in one way or another.
