I just finished a space themed cage for one of my boys. I'm working on some different themes for my other cages, although most of them only go as far as matching fleece/colors etc. You could probably get some pretty cool ideas just by looking through some of the member's cages on here. Let us...

It's been a while since I moved mine around, but I believe if you loosen the the screws enough lift the upper half of the cage off, you can just wiggle out/in the middle grid. It's probably a two person job though, especially if you're weak like me;)

Soaking in hot water and soap has always worked for me.

I would definitely go with the FN. The doors make cleaning extremely easy, they look great, and my chins love the space. I have 3 FNs and a QC, but I absolutely hate the QC. It's impossible to clean and visit with my chins, it's very flimsy, and IMO really ugly.

Definitely go for the edging if you can! It keeps in a LOT of the mess.
