I've considered cutting up the extra cardboard we have and making a fort out of it. If it's nice enough, maybe use the cardboard plans to make a wooden pine version. I adore the chinnie chew chew from simplychintastic, but as that site is not availible, it has become a diy project.

Will the metal pans make less noise than the plastic pans? Maybe enough fleece around the pans will prevent noise? I've seen a few noise complaints on here. Looks like some people remove the small pans on the FN anyway and put more ledges for their furry jumpers.
