Hannah finally popped last night :tease: I had the joy of seeing 5 tiny hoglets this morning!! No pictures, obviously, but hopefully I'll be able to snap a few in a week or so :) Just had to share the good news!!!

Thanks guys! I really wasn't expecting so many...I'm hoping that they all make it, Hannah is not a huge girl. But I'm soooo excited, been avoiding her room, but its hard :)

This is all I get to see for now....

And the boyfriend saw a photo opportunity (Hannah happened to be escorting a hoglet back under the fleece) and grabbed the camera (which is now left on top of Hannahs cage). She is such a wonderful mama hog!!! And I got this cute picture!!

D'awww! *squeals*
Sho cute! <3

Is that baby food I see?
I've never tried giving my hedgies baby food before.

Ah the joy of new born hedgehogs. Not yet adorable, but yet still adorable.

It is baby food. I've been supplementing Hannah with extra various foods since the beginning of her pregnancy, and when she is pregnant/nursing she will only get Royal Canin Baby Cat Food - she throws the rest of the kibbles out! lol - guess she knows what she needs :)

Awww.... Lovin, you make me want a baby hedgie.
Love those little quills and ears. And those toesies.

All five are doing awesome and getting big fast! I'll be taking more pictures soon :) Unfortunately the few people who had contacted me earlier in the year have not emailed back with answers to my questionarre, so all five hoglets are for sale! Looks like two are going to be darker and three are going to look like mama Hannah! I can't wait to start holding them in a couple of weeks!

WOW these hoglets are growing up fast! They are just over 2 weeks old and their eyes are now almost open. I’ve started picking each one up for a few seconds and stroking their quills. Hannah watches each one and then checks them over once they are back in the nest. After the process is over she begins to nurse – right in front of me! So far there are two boys, two girls and one unknown – the unknown hasn’t un-balled for me yet. LOL!! The other four are so curious – one even started “tasting” my hand and then tried to self-annoint when I put him down! Silly little boy!
I snapped a few pictures from tonight – enjoy! Their colors have changed so much! :)
