I'm going to make my boyfriend dinner for V-day and he looooves anything chicken. We are going to have lemon pepper asparagus as a side...any good chicken recipes that goes well with that?

Take garlic and herb breadcrumbs, cover the top layer with lemon pepper, garlic powder salt and pepper to taste

Beat a few eggs and dip the chicken in the egg, then into the bread crumbs until both sides are covered evenly.

Put the chicken in a slightly deep pan and (after a butter rub on the pan) place the chicken without over lapping them.

Squeeze a half of a lemon over the chicken

put in oven on 350 for about 35ish mins (check to see when ready)

In a pan on the top of the stove, take minced garlic and a half of a stick of butter and simmer on low until all is melted. Put in seasoning to taste and simmer to keep warm without letting all of the butter evaporate. When garlic pieces are soft enough, smoosh them with a fork to allow for sofer pieces and good taste. 10 mins before taking the chicken out drizzle sauce over all the pieces evenly

I just made this tonight and it was a big hit, and not hard at all!!!

Stackie (my dear friend Stacie of course!) don't know what kind of grocery stores you have by you, but if you have a Piggly Wiggly you can get a rotiessiere chicken from them in lemon pepper or garlic pepper. That way you could focus on less cooking and more romancing! HA!

If not just do baked chicken breasts and chicken pieces with butter and light season of lawry's. I like the lemon pepper asparagus as a side a lot--what about a potato or pasta side dish too? Knorr makes this delicious chicken and vegetable rice packet--look for that by the rice--it's fabulous! We have it at least once a week with rotiessiere chicken (can you tell I'm a bit addicted to rotiessiere chicken?)

Good luck!

My mom gave me a great easy chicken recipe

Thawed boneless chicken breast ( or the tenderloin strips)

Marinade the chicken in Italian Salad Dressing for an hour ( or longer in you'd like I also kinda poke the chicken with a fork to get the marinade ito the chicken)
Bake in the over at 375 til the chicken is done

A less quick but darn good prep method I like for chicken:

Peel and crack 100 cloves (not the whole heads, the cloves) of garlic. Stick cracked cloves under the chicken's skin, paying more attention to the white meat. Rub the skin with softened butter/olive oil. Cook as usual for baked chicken (375* for 1.5-2 hrs?).

This stuff should fall off the bone when it comes out, and it's great chopped up for soup the next day too.

I take boneless skinless chicken and cut into strips. I take white rice and herbs (oregano, parsley, maybe some garlic) and mix it in with water and place it in a pyrex dish. Put the chicken on top of the rice and water mix and then place velvetta cheese on top of the chicken and sprinkle bread crumbs and herbs over top of it. Delish!
