Would this be a good cage for a chin?

Hi there,

I have a cage for my chinchilla already, but I'm looking to buy him one that is a bit bigger. Is this cage a good choice for a chinchilla?

That's a ferret nation, and excellent choice for adult chins. Baby and/or very young chins can fit through the bars.

That is, in my opinion, the best cage possible for chins! I have 3 of those. As Riven mentioned, the bar spacing is too big for babies but you can baby-proof it. There are instructions for that in some other threads if you need it. You could probably just type baby proofing in the search bar above.

thank you! i THINK he's about a year and a half or two year old, so i think he's going to be okay

i found that one on kijiji and i assumed it was a ferret nation cage, but just wanted to double check before i bought it!
