Next weekend, Adam and I are going out of town for one night. We'd be leaving at about 6pm on Friday and returning at about the same time on Saturday. Do you think they'd be fine and dandy if my mom came over and checked them around 9pm (to turn their light off and whatnot), then again at about 8am and midway through the day? Their heater is on a timer and they're usually pretty good... but I'm a nervous momma. I've finally got everyone healthy and settled here, and I don't want to drag them over to my parent's house for one night if they'd be just as well here. Mom is only across a school yard, so she's not that far away.

Do you think they'd be fine for a short time like this? I don't know if I'm 100% comfortable with the idea myself, but it would definitely be less of an upset for them, I'm usually gone from 7am to 5pm on weekdays, and then I'm sleeping from 11pm to 6am, so they've been alone for a fair amount of time without issues.

I would have her check on them in the morning too.. Im way to paranoid to not have someone checl every so often. When Aeros first eye protosed I literally checked on him 3 hours before and he was fine and then I came back and his eye was out. So I like to check at most every 8-12 hours.. And when Im home I check more often than that..

My mom would make sure to stop by at about 9pm on Friday, 6-8am on Saturday (she's an early riser on weekends), maybe noonish, and then again at about 3pm. She said she might even just crash on the couch here over night, which would be awesome.

I've just never left them overnight before and not been under the same roof... I'm a little nervous, heh.

I did let Litchi overnight sometime, like when I'm sleeping at my parent's house. But I always check that everything is fine and there is enough food before leaving.
