Yesturday I gave piglet a bath. Before that bath yesturday, he was eating and running on his wheel. He actually ran on his wheel during the day today which I found odd, he usually runs at night like really late. Normally he freaks out when the dog tries to sniff him or with I move my hands to fast or when anyone tries to approach him. But today he never curled up when the dog sniffed, nor puff when my friend tried to grab/hold him. Also even tho I heard him eat and run on the wheel during the day, just 5 minutes ago I saw him sleeping next to his wheel. I just don't know what's wrong...He normally is a bit more cautious?

Do you think I should worry? I got him in November when he was 8 weeks old. I don't find any quills in his cage really, barely. I don't know if he was so cautious before because he was shedding quills, but I just never seen him run during the day, or fall asleep by his wheel. He's not huffing at anyone or anything. hrmm... I don't even know what I would ask the vet to look at when I go...I'm thinking of going on Friday.

Help?

He's just finally comfortable with his surroundings. He feels safe sounds like he was quilling when there quilling you see them alot less. It sounds like nothing to worry about.

thanks hedgieman. i heard him run on his wheel last night again. and he fell asleep in his igloo this morning.~ he's next to me now snoozing still. i think he's alright i was just surprised at how much nicer he's acting i guess lol~

Sudden changes in behavior are always something to be concerned about. Sometimes a behavior change can be the first symptom of illness. As long as food and water intake are normal, his weight isn't changing negatively, and activity levels are good, then he is likely to be fine.
