Wood Question

I read somewhere on here that the stickers/stamps on the wood planks all meant different types of woods. I have looked, and tried finding that post, but can't. Could someone link to the other thread which had the different codes for the wood.

I didn't look for the link, sorry, but I think you are referring to the stamps that mills put on them like HT for heat treated and KD for kiln dried?

Right. As well as the type of wood they are. My wife is going to the hardware stores today while I am at work, and she was going to look in the scrap bins. I know someone had posted those as well as the actual wood type: Aspen, Pine,...
