Winking?

Hi!

I've noticed that my chins hardly ever blink. I think I've seen them do it once or twice, ant it was more like a fast wink from both eyes. Like, one-two. Not just all together. They wink a lot though. Like, one eye and then a few seconds later the other eye. Is there a reason for this?

And I thought I was the only one to see my chins wink!

The point of blinking is to moisturize the eyes though, right?
So whether they are blinking or winking both with a small delay, it still performs the same function.

Anyone else have insight? :hmm:

They are prey animals and always on watch for predators so closing both eyes at once increases chances of not seeing something. If my boys are nervous I wink at them to tell them things are safe and they seem to like it.
